Monday, January 31st:  Timed Mile Run:   20 points

Due Tuesday, February 1: Essay:  20 points

Essay will be the following: a hand-written essay addressing the following:

1)      What is the importance of regular exercise and proper nutrition for a quality life?  How can regular exercise and proper nutrition improve your mental health?

2)      What are three specific techniques/things  you can do to improve your power walking and prevent injuries?

3)      What is the advantage of Power walking compared to other formal types of exercise in a health club/gym?

This must be in an essay form...not "bullets and short answers.  Two page hand written minimum.

Friday, February 4th:   Extended Timed-Power Walk:  20 points
